… is a Nigerian writer known for his emotive storytelling that delves into themes of grief, sexuality, and acceptance.

With a background in Agriculture, Mustapha transitioned into the literary world, gaining recognition for his contributions to contemporary African literature. He has won several prestigious awards, including the 2021 K & L Prize for African Literature and the Awele Creative Trust Award for his story “Safety Pins Are Good Omens”​ (Isele Magazine)​​ (Brittle Paper)​. Mustapha co-founded The Story Tree Community, an initiative that fosters young writers through creative writing challenges and community support​ (JAY Lit)​.
